Baobab and Baobab Plus Holding have attained a commendable score of 94/100 in the realm of gender equality within the workplace for the year 2022.

Calculated each year, the professional equality index stands as a strategic endeavor to enhance diversity and inclusivity within organizations, championing equitable remuneration for both women and men.

At Baobab, this accomplishment exhibits a trend of continual improvement, an achievement we take immense pride in. Notably surpassing the regulatory threshold of 75 points, this score reflects the daily commitment of the Group’s HR policy to ensuring that women and men have the same opportunities in terms of pay and career development.

 

In accordance with legal requirements, the Baobab Group publishes the level of its Index every year in order to measure its progress in terms of the pay gap between women and men of equal age and position (source: Index de l’égalité pro: résultats pour les plus grandes entreprises sur travail-emploi.gouv.fr).

The index score is the sum of the company’s results for each of the following 5 indicators:

  • The gender pay gap,
  • The difference in the rate of individual pay rises,
  • The difference in promotion rates,
  • The percentage of female employees who received a pay rise in the year following their return from maternity leave,
  • The number of employees of the under-represented sex among the ten employees with the highest salaries.
